I was born an artist but it took me a long time to find my voice as an artist. In high school I drew, painted, even tried my hand at pottery. I loved them all but it wasn't until I picked up a camera that I found a truly peaceful place. The more I photographed the more the I started to see my world. The everyday details and moments that are magic - the details that, wrapped up in our daily lives, we miss. The camera has given me the gift of time to stop, look, and visit with just a few of these details - it has reendowed me with the sense of wonder that is innate to a child. I am greatly honored by this gift and hope to live in it for the rest of my life.

A note of thanks: Thank you to all those that showed me the way, encouraged and supported me in moments of doubt and that have celebrated the magic moments with me.
