It all started when…

I was standing in the crowd of an outdoor concert many years ago. I had a tiny point & shoot camera. I remember thinking "I wish I had a zoom lens". A few days later I was talking to my dad on the phone and telling him about the concert & wishing I had a better camera. Within days of that phone call a package arrived in the mail. He had sent me his Olympus OM-4. Who knew where that would lead? More than 30 years later I am so grateful for his gift and the path it has led me down. Photography, teaching, seeing my world in new ways everyday. I often wonder what he would think if he could see where that camera has taken me. Thanks, Dad.
